Class 2 Biosafety Cabinet

Class 2 Biosafety Cabinet is mainly used for handling pathogenic biological samples or for applications that require a sterile work zone. It provides personnel, product and environmental protection through filtered air, laminar or unidirectional air and a motor blower. Class 2 Biosafety Cabinet is drawn in through the front grill of the cabinet. These are used to protect personnel against bio-hazardous or infectious agents and to help maintain quality control of the material being worked with as it filters both the inflow and exhaust air.
